Dahab

Dahab is located on the Sinai Peninsula, approximately 100 km north-east from Sharm-el-Sheikh, along the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba.
There are four districts in town:
  • Assalah, the old district, the residential area of bedouins,
  • Maschraba, the administrative and touristic district, where you can find the bank and post, as well as many hotels, shops and local restaurants
  • Massbad, with a touristic promenade and restaurants along the coast
  • Madena, where renowed hotels, residences for public servants and some shops can be found.

There are several dive spots along the coast of Dahab, such as the Canyon and the famous Blue Hole. The fringing coral reef (close to the shore to which it is attached) can be easily reached from the beach. Be aware though to use the designated path to enter the water!

With its friendly atmosphere, its charming restaurants welcoming you for a pause and its beautiful underwater landscapes, Dahab is one of the most beautiful oases on the Sinai coast!
